Discovery records—not automatic visitor stops.

A listed Finger Lakes location supports regional relevance, but it does not mean a private studio welcomes visitors. Regional leads are clearly identified when an exact Finger Lakes base still needs confirmation. Use official links or Ask the Local Guide to find a verified public shop, gallery, market, event, or online source.

Verified places to begin

Experience locally made work through public visitor stops.

These are current records already supported by the structured directory—not a claim of every Finger Lakes maker. Confirm current hours and public access before visiting.

Private locations stay private.

A maker is recommended as a physical stop only when a public studio, storefront, gallery, market, demonstration or event is verified. Home-based and online-only makers can still be discovered through official online shops, commissions, authorized outlets and public events—never through an unpublished residence.

Listed Maker and Featured Maker are not the same thing.

The distinction protects the usefulness of the directory while creating room for deeper relationships and richer profiles.
